Celebrate Creativity with Stockton’s Free Poetry Workshops
Stockton Poet Laureate, Jazmarie LaTour, is bringing the community together through a free poetry workshop series open to all ages and experience levels. Held at various locations across Stockton, these workshops provide a welcoming space for participants to explore poetry, engage in writing exercises, and connect with fellow poets.
No registration is required—just bring a notebook and pen! Attendees will have the opportunity to share their work at upcoming poetry reading events, including one at Van Buskirk Community Center on April 5th.
This inspiring initiative, supported by Tuleburg Press, SSJCPL, Visit Pixie Woods, City of Stockton Arts, and the City of Stockton, aims to make poetry accessible to all. Whether you’re a seasoned writer or new to poetry, these workshops are a perfect place to express yourself.
